General Rules for Students
- Students involved in activities harmful to academic interests will not be admitted to any course.
- Violation of college or university rules may lead to expulsion.
- Students involved in ragging will be expelled after investigation by the anti-ragging committee.
- Consumption of drugs, alcohol, gambling, or any anti-social activities will result in expulsion.
- Students must participate in all prescribed academic activities like lectures, tutorials, seminars, and lab work.
- At least 75% attendance is mandatory to attend classes and exams.
- Admission renewal is compulsory before the start of each semester.
- Students with less than 75% attendance will be marked as non-collegiate and barred from final exams.
- The college authority’s decisions on disciplinary issues are final.
- Students must follow the college uniform rules.
- Mobile phone use is prohibited unless permitted by the authority.
- Anti-ragging rules, as directed by the Supreme Court and AICTE, must be followed strictly.
Rules & Regulations of the College Library
- The library operates from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on working days.
- Students must apply for a library card using a form available at the library office.
- A duplicate library card can be issued for a fine of ₹50 if the original is lost.
- Higher Secondary (HS) students can borrow a maximum of two books for 15 days.
- Degree students (Pass course) can borrow two books, while Major students can borrow four books for 15 days.
- Late returns incur a fine of ₹0.50 per day per book.
- Mobile phone use is strictly prohibited in the library.
- Silence must be maintained at all times in the library.
- Personal items like bags and books are not allowed inside the library.
These simplified rules ensure discipline and proper utilization of the college facilities.
