About
The Computer Education Center of THB College was started from Sept’2003 in collaboration with C-DAC. The Computer Center of THB College has been set up to keep pace with the developments in the information and communication technologies to keep track of the latest developments in Computer Software/ Hardware technologies, Internet technologies to impart knowledge & to facilitate the students & staff of the college to acquire the same.
The Center provides various career oriented long-term, short term & modular computer software courses for the students. All the courses are designed with the latest methods that are introduced in the field of IT Education.The Computer Center provides possible assistance in conducting research works of the faculties of the college & also helps in analyzing their data etc.The Computer Center organizes and conducts short term computer literacy crash courses for the teaching & non- teaching staff of the College.
Keeping in mind the stupendous problem of the educated unemployed youths, the Computer Center is also facilitating the youths of greater area of this locality to reach these facilities of learning all Professional Computer Courses that help them in procuring jobs in different fields.
The Computer Center also assists various Departments in the college in computerizing their activities.The Computer Center possesses a well-equipped computer laboratory. The library of the Center provides book facilities for all the courses. Reference books for all the courses are also available in the general library of THB College.
